Supporting Action Aid in their mission to further human rights and defeat poverty for all.
Action Aid represent a global movement of women standing together to claim their human rights and campaign against injustice. Integral to the organisation is the management of financial donations and customer relationships. Multiple stand alone systems had been implemented to manage components of the process that were loosely integrated, resulting in bottlenecks. Attempts were made to leverage middleware to streamline processes, but the required alignment and efficiency had not been achieved. The team needed to find and implement a technology that would connect back of house systems and make administration easier. They also required a partner that would provide and configure the technology, with subject matter expertise and a strong cultural alignment.
While we understood the processes and technologies required to provide a solution for Action Aid, we did not have the immediate expertise required to provide and implement the middleware solution. Leveraging our experience in solution design, software procurement and implementation, we offered to help Action Aid find the right partner and de-risk an implementation pathway that would give them the confidence to proceed. The project was a great a success and has achieved the desired outcomes. Action Aid have since worked with Sakui on customisation and maintenance of their corporate website platform which sits within the donation eco-system.
